How we source our numbers
The automobile-tax and weight-tax tables, 自賠責 amounts, shaken cost ranges, insurance ranges, parking ranges and current gasoline price are drawn from official bodies (総務省, 国交省, 損保料率機構, METI) and reputable industry sources for 2025–2026, recorded with dated source comments in our data files. Insurance and shaken shop fees are shown as ranges, never quotes.
